The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Greater Twin Cities was established in 1988 to promote the development, improved breeding practices, and well-being of the purebred Bernese Mountain Dog. The club strives to provide education about the breed to both its members and prospective Bernese Mountain Dog owners.
Club meetings and club memberships are open to everyone who has an interest in learning more about the breed regardless if you own a Berner. Formal club meetings are generally held four times a year, with a club newsletter being published quarterly. Meetings generally include a topic relevant to Berner ownership such as maintaining good health in your Berner, showing your Berner, teaching your Berner new tasks and always include ample opportunity for you and your dog to socialize with other Berners and their owners.
