DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, January 31st\, for a special Bernese Mountain Dog gathering at the annual Saint Paul Winter Carnival! Not only is it a great opportunity to connect with fellow club members\, but it’s an amazing opportunity for us to share this wonderful breed with others. \nIt won’t be hard to spot the Berners\, but you can find us at 11 am in Rice Park\, next to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. \nThe Saint Paul Winter Carnival\,  is free to all\, and you can learn all about the planned activities on the Winter Carnival Website. \nWe hope to see you there! \n \n  \n~ 140th Winter Carnival ~\nThe Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation’s 137th Saint Paul Winter Carnival will run for 10 days – all day on weekends and evenings during the week. From January 22\, through February 1\, 2026\, the festival will attract 100\,000+ people from Saint Paul and beyond to celebrate winter in Minnesota. Landmark Center\, located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul\, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds\, and businesses throughout the city will be venues for event festivities\, which include ice carving competitions\, family-friendly artistic and educational activities\, and much more! \nThe festival has expanded each year to provide new programming that reflects changing demographics of the community. DESCRIPTION:Our first event of the year is Berners in the Park. Hosted by the St. Paul Winter Carnival\, our club has been a featured attraction for the past few years. Our goal is to let the public see our purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs. Join us on Saturday\, February 3rd from 11:oo am to 1:00 pm at Rice Park 109 W. 4th St. in St. Paul. This is an outside event. Dress for the weather and bring poop bags! Please do not bring dogs that may find this event stressful. Be aware of your dog and leash at all times to prevent accidents. \nAfterward\, we will meet at the dog-friendly St. Paul Brewery at 688 Minnehaha Ave. East for a club meeting.

Winterfest is on December 16th starting at 2 pm with a club meeting at 3 pm where you can eat\, drink\, try your luck at the auction\, and play some games with fellow Berner lovers! \nBring something to eat/share for the potluck and a chair to sit around the bonfire. Don’t forget to dress for the outdoors! \nIMPORTANT: Unfortunately due to the canine respiratory infection that is currently circulating\, this year’s Winterfest will be humans only. The club feels it would be unsafe to have such a large gathering of our beloved four-legged friends\, but please join us to celebrate them! \n
