Our goal is to let the public see our purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs. Join us on Saturday\, February 3rd from 11:oo am to 1:00 pm at Rice Park 109 W. 4th St. in St. Paul. This is an outside event. Dress for the weather and bring poop bags! Please do not bring dogs that may find this event stressful. Be aware of your dog and leash at all times to prevent accidents. \nAfterward\, we will meet at the dog-friendly St. Paul Brewery at 688 Minnehaha Ave. East for a club meeting.

Not only is it a great opportunity to connect with fellow club members\, but it’s an amazing opportunity for us to share this wonderful breed with others. \nIt won’t be hard to spot the Berners\, but you can find us at 11 am in Rice Park\, next to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. \nThe Saint Paul Winter Carnival is free to all\, and you can learn all about the planned activities on the Winter Carnival Website. \nWe hope to see you there! \n \n  \n~ 137th Winter Carnival ~\nThe Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation’s 137th Saint Paul Winter Carnival will run for 10 days – all day on weekends and evenings during the week. From Thursday\, January 26\, through Sunday\, February 5\, 2023\, the festival will attract 100\,000+ people from Saint Paul and beyond to celebrate winter in Minnesota. Landmark Center\, located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul\, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds\, and businesses throughout the city will be venues for event festivities\, which include ice carving competitions\, family-friendly artistic and educational activities\, and much more! \nThe festival has expanded each year to provide new programming that reflects changing demographics of the community. For registration\, fees\, and schedule information\, see the  2022 BMDCGTC Premium List. \nHave you worked hard with your dog to build their drafting skills and want to test your abilities? Perhaps you want to cheer on those participating. All are welcome\, but please be respectful during testing. Un-entered dogs may be present but must be leashed or crated and controlled at all times. Please remember to pick up after your dogs! \nWhat is drafting? The basic definition is the act of pulling a cart or wagon.
